I’m in the middle of upgrading to Wordpress 1.5, so if the site looks weird, disregard it.

Update: The upgrade seems to have gone pretty well. Now I just have to recreate my layout with the new themes system.

I did pretty well at the tournament today. I beat out two other guys in weapons forms, three in empty hand forms, and won two sparring matches to take first place in all three events that I signed on for.

We didn’t have a whole ton of people from our school, but I think we did really well overall. My instructor and one of our teen black belts both took first in their respective weapons divisions and second in their respective sparring divisions, Sifu and one of our yellow belts both took first in their respective empty hand divisions, a green belt took third in his sparring division, things like that.

I want to thank Deirdra, PJ, Jennifer, Don, and Donovan for coming out to watch and support me, and all my fellow students for training with me. I had a really great day.
